The Women’s Shed Central Coast is a not-for-profit community organisation offering empowering spaces for women.  Becoming a member isn’t just about benefits— it’s about supporting a bigger mission. Your membership fee helps us keep workshops affordable, provide materials for those in need, and expand our reach. It allows us to run inclusive programs, maintain our community spaces, and support women through practical skill-building, connection, and empowerment. Every membership directly contributes to making the Shed stronger, more sustainable, and more accessible for all.  You will also benefit through some perks - advance notification of events, eligibility to volunteer, including advancement to Opal, and the independence this brings, voting rights, regular member only events, and an annual free test and tag on one electrical item (ie your sewing machine, overlocker etc) for use at the Shed.
