ABOUT WSCC
Who we are
Founded in 2023, Women’s Shed Central Coast (WSCC) is a not-for-profit community organisation and registered charity based at our primary site in Berkeley Vale, serving women across the Central Coast of NSW.
Our purpose is to reduce social isolation while empowering women to learn new skills, express their creativity and share their knowledge and experience. We draw on the wealth of wisdom, skills and talents within our community, creating opportunities for women to connect, learn and support one another.
Since launching our Groups and Workshops, WSCC has grown into a thriving community, offering everything from power tools, woodworking, arts and crafts, sewing and needlecraft to gardening, creative collectives, social gatherings and community events.
Today, WSCC has over 100 financial members and a Facebook community of more than 10,000 women, many of whom attend activities casually at the Shed.
Founded on the values of connection, inclusion, generosity and shared learning, WSCC lives by our motto: Create, Build, Grow. We're building a strong community for the future, expanding opportunities for women across the Central Coast, all powered by our volunteers.
With a growing membership and a passionate community behind us, we look forward to continuing to make a lasting difference in women's lives.
