WSAC- Kinusaiga Fabric Mosaic with Kathy

Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese art form where intricate, stitch-free pictures are created using fabric scraps tucked into grooves cut into a foam or wooden base. This wonderful Art form has been making a come back and I would love to share it with you. I love that this artform repurposes fabric scraps which would otherwise be destined for landfill.

In this workshop you will create a framed 15 x 20cm with a choose from 4 different images, which will be finished and ready for you to take home. All products are supplied, however if you have your own fabric scissors it would be helpful if you could bring them along. We have an abundance of fabric scraps for you to use (which have been sorted by colour) so choosing will be a lot less overwhelming. I cannot wait to see how your creations tur…
