About the event

Spring is about to be sprung, and it's a perfect time to go through your wardrobe to discard what you no longer love, and bring in some fresh new items, so WSCC is delighted to announce its first Clothes Swap!

When is it? Sunday September 8, from 10-1pm. By gold coin donation if you can.

What is it? Clothes swaps are a social and fun way to recycle/refresh your wardrobe without adding waste to the planet.

How does it work? Just take a look through your wardrobe for things you no longer wear. Things you might treasure but no longer fit, things you're tired of. Clothes must be clean and in excellent condition (no holes, no pilling, no stains). Jewelry and shoes in good condition also welcome. Bring them along to the Shed at 78 Shannon Parade, Berkeley Vale between 9.30am and 12.30 pm on Sunday September 8. Place them on the labeled tables, then have a browse to see what others have brought and take home what takes your fancy! Turn up any time, leave at any time. Pause for a cuppa and a chat and to show off your findings.

This is a social event for our community. It's also a women~&~non-binary event, so no kiddos, or kid's clothes - that may come another time. If you don't have anything to bring it's perfectly fine to just turn up to browse, but do have a look through your cupboard, you'll be surprised what you find that can be moved on to a new home.
