Make & Take - Hobo Bag

Create your very own stylish and practical Hobo Bag in this fun and beginner-friendly sewing workshop. Perfect for everyday use, as a nappy bag, beach tote, or for day trips, this versatile bag can be customised to suit your style and needs.

Choose from short or long handles, block or multicolour print fabric, and add optional press studs or magnetic closures. There’s also the opportunity to include inside and/or outside pockets for extra functionality. Suitable fabrics include cotton, canvas, duck, drill – or upcycle an old pair of denim jeans!

Some guidance will be provided when constructing the handles, making it an ideal project for beginners who are ready to build their sewing skills.

Bring your own machine* and fabric if you like – or use what we have on hand. we have some machines and fabric for use at the shed, but feel free bring along anything special.
