About the event

Join me for a leisurely wander (and I mean leisurely!) up the Pearl Beach Fire Trail to the lookout over the Hawkesbury River/Dyarubbin, and back to Pearl Beach, with a side trail to Warrah Trig.

There will be plenty of time for taking photos, oohing and aahing at the glorious wildflowers and catching one’s breath as necessary! There are some uphill bits, but not too steep – the surface can be a little loose so wear comfortable footwear. Bring the usual – water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent. It takes about 2 hours for the return walk so there is plenty of time for dawdling and chatting, and time for a post walk coffee at The Cove, Umina, if you don’t need to rush off (the Pearl Beach Cafes are sadly still closed).

*Meet up at the beachfront car park, near the shop/play equipment.
