Our first Intro to Tools Workshop was a great success!
Run by the wonderful Clare Buckingham, and attended by 7 eager women at Wyoming Community Centre, our first Intro to Tools Workshop was a great success. All attendees left feeling more confident and more empowered to put their new found skills to use on their own projects. Attendees were taught the basics of identifying and using different types of power drills and powers saws, along with the basics of hand tools. Everyone had a go, even those feeling the nerves, and everyone came out the other side feeling proud of themselves.
There will be more to come!
After the amazing results of the workshop, we will definitely be running many more of these in the future once we are set up and running in our new premises. We already have a 40+ strong waitlist for the next classes, so its very clear we are on the right track! Can't wait to see you all in the shed!
